Account has charges on

I paid my Virgin bill as I'd accidentally cancelled the direct debit and I've checked my online account and it says new charges £40 off pound and scroll down and it says adjustment and 2 amounts £5.15 and £39 something. Says d.d denied instruction ? What does this mean please. Will be phoning them tomorrow and asking what it means

Re: Account has charges on

Hi Kaywebb,

Welcome to the community and thanks for posting.

The "DD denied instruction" is an automated letter which is sent to say the direct debit has been cancelled.

I'm afraid I can't divulge your billing information for security reasons. All I can say is if there are extra charges on your account then please take a look at the adjustments section.

If the £5.15 shows as a credit adjustment then you haven't been charged. Furthermore, if the £39 shows a 'CR' in front of it then it's likely the cost of your previous bill.

You can see more information on our 'Understanding your bill' help page. If you're still not sure, then please call the team on 150 from a Virgin Media landline or 0345 454 1111 from any other phone.

Hope this explains things. Let me know if you need anything else.
