TV multiroom

Tenants just moved into my house want to have a TV in the bedroom (rear of the house) connected to Virgin as well as TV in the lounge (front of the house) connected to the Virgin, which is where the Virgin access point is at the moment.

Am I right in thinking that this can be done if they have two Virgin V6 or TiVio boxes (one in each room) and using powerline adaptors so both boxes are connected via ethernet cables?

Would the boxes be able to operate independently so they would be able to watch different live TV channels on each TV?

Basically I want to avoid having a Virgin coaxial cable trailed over the roof of the house (its a terraced house) to the bedroom.
