Check Device Power

If the last program we watch is from our smart TV apps, e.g. Amazon, Netflix, iPlayer etc.and then we switch off for the night, the next time we switch everything on again, we get the "Check Device Power" screen and nothing we do can get rid of it without powering the Virgin Box and TV off and on.  Then the box restarts.  This is annoying, because we have to wait several minutes before the box restarts.

It does not happen if the last program we watched was from Virgin.

Are there anything we can do to get the Virgin system back without switching off and on?
