No dial tone , at all

Just got connected today.  

Wifi is ok ,  TV is ok ,  but no phone line not even dial,tone , my phone display says check phone line , but all is connected this end ,   

What next.  Anyone 👍👍.

Firstly I'd like to welcome you to the forums and also to Virgin Media, I'd also like to  say that I'm sorry to hear that your phone line is not working for you at the moment. 

I've done some checks and can see no reason why this should not be working for you, the testing doesn't show any abnormalities on the line, and there are no known local issues. 

I can see that you've been able to arrange for a technician to call out so please let me know how this all goes for you. 

The only thing I can think of is that there may be a different socket for you to plug the phone into, if the socket you are using has any other company than Virgin Media written on it, then it would not be our socket (In your area it may also say Telewest depending on the age of the socket).
