Voicemail set up but not working

I set up voicemail, it seemed to work but I have had no messages. When I ring 222 it says I have no messages but when anyone calls my number a message tells them I am no available when I am

It may be the call forwarding settings that you may need to change on your handset

there is 3 options I believe on the handset that you can change

Forward when busy
Forward always
Forward when unavailable.

The unavailable is when your out of network
When busy is if your on the phone or you reject the call
Forward always is self explanatory

It may be the fact that you don't have a signal which means it would say your unavailable
