Virgin Insurance is not what it seems!

Sony Xperia Z1 Compact - cracked screen.  So I claimed on the insurance - 2 days of phone calls and emailing and a payment of £70 (Excess).  The replacement phone arrived.  Setting it up was a nightmare, it already contained someone else's number under the contact 'Myself', which cannot be deleted or amended.  Although the phone is fine on the internet, I cannot make or receive calls and the text service is intermittent and slow.  Reported this to the insurance was asked to call Virgin to get it checked out, couldn't do that as their system was down.  Told to do factory reset - done that twice - several phone calls to virgin and insurance at my cost - not resolved! At last tonight they have agreed to replace the replacement, but in the next sentence said that they don't have any phones or alternative phones in stock that they can send me! Frustrated isn't the word......
