Very poor mobile internet

I am getting very poor mobile internet. Occasionally I get a day where it picks up 3G or H/H+, but more often than not it only manages GPRS which is totally unresponsive. I expect better for a service which I pay for and I use Internet on my phone more than anything else.

It's pretty poor that virgin still don't use 4G, but I at least expect the service I pay for to work.

Please advise urgently.

Sorry to hear you're having issues with 3G signal in your area.

 

I've managed to locate your details and have run some checks on your area for you.

 

We don't currently have any faults listed for your area.

 

Looking at mast coverage there doesn't seem to be any issues as most masts are healthy from what I can see. The frequency of masts in the area is quite low and distance between them quite large so this may cause random issues.

 

I would recommend calling our mobile team on 789 or alternatively on 0345 6000 789 so we could check the handset for you.
