Phone warranty

I have had my phone (xperia z3) now for just over a year. It is on contract and I pay £40 a month for it.

I have had problems in the past with the side buttons not working. The phone is in pristine condition, never been dropped and has been well taken care of.

I sent it off for repair and it was fixed and sent back to me.

It has happened again and I have went through the process to send it off for repair again. It comes up saying the phone is in warranty but then says I may be charged £204?!

I pay £40 a month for this phone and I might have to pay £204 for it to be repaired when it was free before and says it is still in warranty?

Can anyone help?

Re: Phone warranty

Hi French7,

Welcome to the forums Smiley Happy

With regards to the phones warranty, a charge will only be implemented if there is physical or liquid damage. The phone will come to our repair center and they will assess this for you.

A charge wouldn't be processed without your approval and we would call to confirm this with you.

Let me know if you have any additional queries.
