New to Virgin Phone Contract problem

On Tuesday 26th april I signed up to virgin and set up a new phone contract. Got my welcome emails etc.. and one said I would have to wait 24 hours for a credit check and I would receive an email when it was done saying if it was ok. Its now Thursday and still haven't heard anything can anyone help?

Also when I try and sign in to my account to check it it wont let me keeps saying invalid username ??
