Sorry about the update, this can take some time depending on the level of data is being transferred through from us to your TiVo.
Those lights flashing can indicate the box isn't responsive and would need to have this looked at. If the update hasn't completed by now then an engineer would be the best course of action. If this is still happening and you've not moved from the update then please have a look at your 'Inbox'. I've sent you a 'Private Message', you can find this by clicking on the little purple envelope near the top right of the page.
