Tivo box rebooting constantly

On Wednesday evening my TiVo box started rebooting itself constantly, then last night it appeared to be working again.  We had arranged for an engineer to come out today, but as it appeared to be working and not wanting to waste anyone's time, we cancelled the engineer, and as luck would have it, it has started to reboot constantly again.  I have powered the box off, run tests through the service status page (which were inconclusive), and generally can't find anything wrong on this end?


Am I missing anything obvious or are we going to need an engineer after all (currently kicking myself for cancelling!)

Yep! Kicking yourself is the right thing to do! You'll need an engineer and possibly a new box.
