TIVO box so s...l..o..w

I have the same issue as some other posts TIVO can now take anything up to 30 seconds to navigate to the next screen when navigating menus following the update it was OK before

Can anything be done? add this to my 152mb broadband running at 10mb at peak times and I can't help but feel let down

Welcome back and thank you for posting. I am sorry to read that there's been some slowness in the operation of the box itself. 


I have been testing the TiVo and as far as I can see there's no issues outright, only that the EPG data is out of date and would need to be brought up to date. Can you possibly tell me if this is happening during the day / night? Also give the below flow a go:-


  1. Press Home on your TiVo remote
  2. Select Help & Settings.
  3. Choose Settings.
  4. Select Network.
  5. Choose Connect to the Virgin Media Service now.
