Stuck Starting up...


My Tivo box is stuck at the "Startup up..." page. We've tried resetting the box, leaving it off for a long time, etc etc.

My girlfriend phoned up customer support but they were not helpful. They said an engineer would have to come out and the earliest they could make it is 31st Dec!! Is there anything we can do? I really don't want to be without a TV over xmas! There is no reported fault in my area according to the service page, so I can only assume the box is knackered somehow.

Any help would be massively appreciated!

Unfortunately it does sound like its knackered. 

I guess that it being Xmas there's a lot of engineers on holiday and the usual amount of work. 

Try ringing again. You may get lucky. You could have greater to cancel but I'm not sure how effective that would be. Sorry.

I'm sorry to hear that your box isn't loading up for you.  I can see you have an engineer booked to get this fixed for you.  It would be great to hear back how you get on after the appointment.
