My Tivo box is stuck at the "Startup up..." page. We've tried resetting the box, leaving it off for a long time, etc etc.
My girlfriend phoned up customer support but they were not helpful. They said an engineer would have to come out and the earliest they could make it is 31st Dec!! Is there anything we can do? I really don't want to be without a TV over xmas! There is no reported fault in my area according to the service page, so I can only assume the box is knackered somehow.
