Software install not connection

So 2 guys came to install this morning at 8am.

Said there was IP issues that were being resolved, plugged in my box and left.

I have got to the installing software screen,
Pass preparing quickly
Getting stuck on connecting saying check cables before restarting.

I have checked cables, all looks plugged in okay as far as I can see, the tech guys fitted it all.

Getting slightly frustrated now!!

I am sorry that there's been some interruption and I can see that you're online but some of the EPG data is out of date. I would like to ask if you can follow this flow from the remote and get back to me once this is done?


  1. Press Home on your TiVo remote
  2. Select Help & Settings.
  3. Choose Settings.
  4. Select Network.
  5. Choose Connect to the Virgin Media Service now
