New TiVo not showing up in manage my TiVo

Following a previous post which resulted in a successful engineer visit - thanks to those who organised that - and now I have a brand new TiVo box.

However I am now trying to copy the settings from the old box to the new as per other postings here, but I can only see the old box in the Manage my TiVo list, not the new, and this is over 24 hrs after the replacement was put in. Is this normal? How long before it appears?

Hi rufus-chapman,

Thanks for the update and I'm pleased to hear the engineer appointment went well.

I will be happy to help out regarding the copying of settings to the new TiVo®. 

Normally it should work almost right away but can take up to 24 hours to go through.  As it has passed the 24 hours then we will need to look into this further.

Is the issue still present today?  If so, let me know and we can help further.
