Network Too Slow When Streaming Tivo To Tivo

I regularly get the network is too slow error message but how can my network be too slow when I have both boxes cabled directly to the Superhub with cat5e cable?

Thank you for taking the time to write to the Community about the Multi Room Streaming, I can understand that there's been some issues, my apologies for this.

 

I have been able to test both boxes and have found that there are some downstream power levels that are operating under the wrong level. These would need some adjusting by an engineer. I've sent you a 'Private Message', you can find this by clicking on the little purple envelope near the top right of the page.

What is the software version on the problem TiVo?

I have exactly the same problem - again, both boxes are connected with Cat5e cables back to the Superhub.

On the Cable Forum, another user has reported that they have the same issues, even when the two boxes are connected directly with an Cat5e cable - see http://www.cableforum.co.uk/board/11/33703379-tivo-multiroom-streaming-problem.html#post35852271.

This points to it being a Tivo software/hardware problem.

Is this being looked at?

I have exactly the same issue. Having recently upgraded from a VHD box to an additional Tivo box we are regularly getting the 'Network Too Slow' message

The new box is currently in the bedroom, but is noticeably faster than the old box. New box is the sending box, old box is the receiving box

Is there a fix for this, or do we need an engineer call out too?

Hi Guys

Interested to come upon this thread, I have been driven crazy by exactly the same issue over the past few weeks,

I'm running via homeplugs  and all was working fine until about the same time the Tivo boxes turned into sloths,

I have tried the supposed data clearance trick every few days to no avail, my home network seems fine as the NAS and WDTV

units stream perfectly through it -

Another issue that has suddenly occurred however is that the LG TV has stopped streaming on Netflix and Amazon Prime,

can access menu's and the like just won't stream the programmes.

If the TIVO Network is yet another known VM problem is it being addressed ?.

I presume new sign ups are being curtailed until the Tivo issues are resolved - (Trading Standards ??)
