Green screen of death and self install box

My TIVO has died, getting green screen saying serious problem then it just restarts every 2 mins. Phoned 150 who said they would send me out self install box in a few days.

I thought they always sent an engineer (which I would prefer as at least I know what day they will come).

Has any one else had this experience?

I'm sorry to hear that you're TiVo® has stopped working.  Ideally when there's a fault of any kind we'd like to send an engineer to fix the issue.  Certain faults that are box specific can be fixed by a simple box swap.  

 

Let me know when you have received the new box and swapped it over, if you encounter any issues I will be happy to help out.
