Over-Utilisation Fault in Ipswich (IP)

Hi,

I've been experiencing extremely poor connection speeds (should be 100Mbit/sec down, but am getting ~2Mbit/sec).

I've just spoken to Virgin customer support and they have confirmed that Ipswich is currently over-utilised. A fault has been raised with a potential fix date of 25 Jan 2012. They have also refunded me 15 days of broadband costs.

No, I've already spoken to CS and they have arranged the credit.

Can you provide me with the fault reference (and any updates) for the over-utilisation fault I'm experiencing in Ipswich please?

Louis

Re: Over-Utilisation Fault in Ipswich (IP)

IP3 here. Just ran a speedtest and got approx ~50Mbit (should be 100Mbit), but as the day goes on, it gets horribly slow. ~10Mbit by about 4pm, ~1Mbit from about 6pm until Midnight.

Re: Over-Utilisation Fault in Ipswich (IP)

Thanks for admitting liability. I will not be paying for any broadband until this issue is resolved, not assessed. The service is not fit for purpose and VM are in breach of contract, with regards to provision of broadband services.
