Thanks for your post and apologies for the issues you are having with TV Anywhere. This isn't what we like to hear and I'm more than happy to help resolve things.
Usually this happens when the connection between the TiVo® and the hub is broken. try turning the hub and TiVo® off by the mains. Turn the hub back on and wait until it's back up and running with a green / steady tick light. Then turn the TiVo® back on and allow it some time to update and initialise. Once you can move around the menus with no freezing then try the TV Anywhere app again.
