Away from tv set up and functionality

I'd be suprised if actually is using this forum given it has taken 15 minutes to join up and sign in. I am not suprised, but still annoyed. 

I can't believe that actually there is not a user guide step by step for using TV anywhere away mode. I'm fairly IT savvy and in fact produce quick guides for a website and the informational oversights on your so called Help pages is laughable. 

What I need to know is how do I use it. How do I connect.  I can connect my hub to the Tivo,  ok, but then what. Do I need to be connected to the Internet whilst I'm say on the train or can I download programmes? 

If so what is the use in that.  I can't access on demand or box sets. Surely this would be the easiest platform to enable for users 

As ever looking forward to the reply from Virgin support, ...........go on please suprise me...
