In the past it used to send out an email to confirm the turn off. But from what I've read recently and with some testing on my end to check that - it doesn't send the turned off confirm messages now. Regardless of message the turned off confirm email not being a thing anymore, you turning it off is enough, the email was only a cursory confirm of actions already done anyway.
You will however still get email notifications when you change how WebSafe is configured while it's on.
