My nan phoned virgin up within the last 2 weeks and she got them to turn the child lock off because it was doing our heads in and I'm not a child. The problem is that I still can't access certain sites which is annoying. What am I supposed to do?
What's the error message you're seeing when trying to access the page(s)? List here the full message you see.
If it is a VM child safe or virus safe block: Either change the DNS settings on your device then reboot it.
Or sign in to My VM https://my.virginmedia.com/home/index with the primary My VM account -> My Apps -> Web Safe. You can then turn off websafe or add exceptions for the sites in question. Once you've made either of those changes, reboot your hub to make sure it comes into effect.
