Re: Block FaceTime

Don't know about SHub but many routers can have fairly flexible permissions on black/white listings, volumes and times devices can connect.

So as an example you can allow FaceTime but only allow the kid's devices to connect to the internet at certain times.  Or block FaceTime or maybe even a combination of both.  One advantage of timed access is that it will also stop the little darlings from either bypassing the block somehow or just moving to some other form of keep me up all night so I can't get up for school platform.

I work for Virgin Media but respond here on an individual basis. No comment or assistance offered is done in any official capacity.

...but here is how to do it if you had a proper router and not the crap that virgin supply....

As you say you work for virgin, perhaps you'd be willing to look at your own companies product specs and suggest some much needed internal improvements and bug fixes for parental controls ?

Otherwise you are not really helping here? There are known major unfixed bugs with times access and Mac filters in hub3.
