I joined Virgin about 5 weeks ago and had a landline, broadband (up to 200mbps) and tv. After the cooling off period had lapsed I experienced problems with both broadband and landline. The landline has now been fixed at the second attempt, first time I was given a different telephone number.
When my wife asked the engineer about the slow broadband speed he said that it was an area issue and that Virgin were updating the system and that it would be up and running by July! Could someone advise if this is correct as I have been previously been told that there is an issue but nothing about such a long delay. I am supposed to being kept up to date with the issue but heard nothing yet.
I am in area 25 whatever that means, so has anyone else been experiencing similar problems.
