Horrendous Broadband Speeds

Ok, so Virgin have til the end of month to convince me that I shouldn't leave.

My broadband is supposed to be 200mbps.

On Saturday it was 3.27.....yes 3.27 Mbps. Meaning I couldn't stream a film which I could only watch via streaming.

Yesterday it was 18.26 Mbps.

Today it is 54 Mbps.

We are a family of four and these issues with download speeds are Just unacceptable.

My standard business broadband at work is consistently 70-80 Mbps.

Can anyone suggest what I can do before I leave at the end of November when my contract ends!

I'm very sorry to hear about the slow speeds you're getting at the moment, I know it's frustrating.


I've checked your connection and nothing obvious is standing out at first look. Have you been testing the wireless or the hard-wired connection speeds? If you've previously tested wireless, please test with a cable connected and let us know what your results are.


Do you notice if the speed fluctuates at certain times of the day or night?
