High ping times since recent channel changes

My connection is erratic, with high ping times, up to 180 ms, since recent changes to channel numbers listed in the Superhub.

All tests have been done with a PC, hardwired with Cat6 cable direct to the Superhub (router bypassed)

One test I might get 15 ms, the next 180 ms. Internet is slow to load basic web pages and online gaming is suffering massively. My speed tests can be between 80 and 180 Mbps, in consecutive tests. All tests have been carried out this morning - evenings are a significantly worse than this.

Please explain why my so called 200 Mbps connection is garbage?

Apologies for the problems with your connection.


I wonder if you notice the same problems if you put your Hub into Modem Mode? If you're hard-wired then the wireless channel shouldn't impact the connection at all.


Could you please test the network in Modem Mode and let us know the results.
