Broadband speed

Hi
I currently pay for 200 megs broadband and I have seen nothing like those speeds since moving from BT some 9 months ago.
I have rung VM on a number of occasions asking why my speeds are low and all I get from them is there working on it and they give me date on when it is due to be done.
However every time it's gets close to the date they then add another month or two to it.
This evening I rang VM for the 2nd time in 2 days asking why I have only got 1meg broadband when I'm paying for the 200meg service.
They could not give me an answer other than hey are working on it AGAIN
I currently use wifi and understand Ethernet is quicker but I'm getting shocking result with both.
If I received 50 megs i would be happy but having 1meg this evening has really took the biscuit and is a complete joke.
Can anybody advise other them going elsewhere
