Scam?

Hi, I've just received the email below and assume it's a scam but wanted to check :

Your account is scheduled for disconnection on 17 March 2017.

Please refer to the "Your Payment Details" section for confirmation of payment
and more can be found at my.virginmedia.com/my-bills/

Please don't cancel your Direct Debit
If you do, you might end up with extra charges on your account.
To set up or change your Direct Debit details, just register or sign into your My Virgin Media account here.

Save by swapping to eBilling
Having a paper bill costs you extra, so if you haven't swapped to eBilling yet, why not try it out?
It means you can view, manage and print your bills online for free. Register here - it won't take a minute.
Got a question about your bill? Please click here for help.

Kind regards,
The Virgin Media team

Re: Scam?

I take it that the "my.virginmedia.com" is a web link, most scam have one somewhere. If you hover over the link, most systems will pop up a window with the real URL that the link points too. It should of course be "my.virginmedia.com", but whatever you do NEVER click on the link. If you want to go to the link, just type it into your web browser from the real text.
