Multiple internet entry points?

Hi, I have been looking for an answer for a while and cant seem to find any solid evidence.

I have an entry point for the tivo box in the living room and another entry point in the centre of the house for the router and then another entry point to a bedroom for another tivo box. Is it possible from the entry point in the bedroom to be attached to another modem to then run an Ethernet to the computer in that room? I do not need the 2nd tivo box anymore.

I have tried power line adaptors but i get frequent internet drops using them.

thanks calum

Re: Multiple internet entry points?

Hello Calum,

Thanks for posting and a warm welcome to the community Smiley Very Happy

I understand what you're trying to achieve, but unfortunately this isn't an option. Two modems would mean two broadband subscriptions and two bills,  which isn't possible within one residential property.

If power line adapters are intermittent, is it possible to run a long Ethernet?

Catch you again,

Take care.
