Hi, I used virgin broadband about two years ago when the cable modem just had one ethernet port and 1 BNC so I could get a public IP address on my own Cisco router.
However, I have just recently signed up again to virgin broadband, and have now been given some all in one box so can not get a public ip address to my router. What is the work around or what do I have to do to get a public ip address to my cisco router. I dont want to use the virgin wireless or router. I only need the modem functions, but I can not even log onto the device to see if I can change the settings.
