iPhone/Chromecast Wifi Issues!


Since 31st December I have struggled to connect my iPhone 6s to the Virgin WiFi, I have a Superhub 2AC. Sometimes it connects to the 2.4 GHz channel but it never finds the 5 GHz.

I have had the same issue connecting the Chromecast gen 2 to the WiFi, stays connected for maybe a day then fails again.

I have rebooted the router two times already since 31st December and it is still happening.

Any ideas?

Sorry to hear about the wireless problems you're getting at the moment, it sounds like a frustrating fault.


Have you tried changing the operating wireless channel yet? If not, I think this would be a good place to start as this will often improve wireless interference problems.
