Some laptops connect.some dont .

Since changing to a superhub router only some of our devices will connect.  Our previous router was a netgear which we had for over 10 years and any device connected ok to it.

Now since installing the superhub only some devices connect.  A 3 year old acer chromebook  will connect but a recently brought sonus one  will not.  My asus laptop wont connect nor my phone. My sons laptop will.

I am not very good at techy things but I assume its something to with 5g and 2.4g connections ?

Does anyone have any ideas or will a virgin engineer be able to sort it out.  Thanks.

Hey tonycoleman,

Thanks for posting and a warm welcome to the community Smiley Very Happy

Sorry to hear about your wireless problems.

With your new Superhub you will have two broadcasting wireless networks, a 5G and 2G.

Your older devices will need to connect to the 2G network, whereas your newer devices such as new smart phones etc, will be able to join both networks.

I hope this helps, please let us know how you're getting on now.

Take care.
