No Broadband in CR8 Purley - Help(less) Desk Responses

Any thoughts on this


  • When you phone Virgin with a fault they do not appear to listen to the issue, but just go through a script (especially if you get through to India)
  • There has been an outage in Purley for the last 36/48 hours - eventually they acknowledged it online and gave a fix time. Apprently it is now fixed so the ticket has been closed - However everyone around me who use Virgin still have no broadband, exactly the same issue. When you phone them they say there is no problem and to get it raised more people have to call. However they will send an engineer to my house in a couple of days to have a look. Despite saying it is nothing to do with my equipment they still want to send the dam engineer.

No wonder the service is so expensive

Sorry to hear about the outages in your area, I know this can be really inconvenient.


I can see that your Superhub is back online, but your downstream power levels are out of range.


I think it's best we arrange for an engineer to call around to look into this further.
