Ordered a broadband package on Friday 27/11 to be delivered on 30/11and received the order summary email and pre-contract documents, however the delivery date confirmation and contract have not been received. Upon trying to log into Virgin Media to confirm that the delivery is still taking place it asks for an account number and area reference, neither of which I have

3 days from order to go live ???   30 days to go live was what we experienced.

Tip of the day is : Do not cancel your current Phone + ISP until you have seen the VM service installed and functioning perfectly for at least one month.  It is much easier to live with an overlap of ISPs than to be without a home internet service for an open ended period.
