Hardware:- Virgin broadband Superhub2, in modem mode. TP link VR900 v1 0.9.1 (plugged into above via WAN port) - Problem also occurs when taken out of service and Superhub used in normal mode. Foscam CCTV camera - trying to send images to external FTP site Filezilla FTP software - trying to send file to same external FTP site
Issue:- Foscam and Filezilla can't complete connection / file transfer to external FTP site. Foscam - Does find the ftp site but can log in. Filezilla can download external FTP file list but cannot upload files.
Filezilla Firewall troubleshooter wizard generates the below report:- Connecting to probe.filezilla-project.org Connection established, waiting for welcome message. I may be barking up the wrong tree here but I recall similar issues reported sometimes when we provided webspace to our customers. 550 permissions error indicates that the user doesn't have 'write' permission assigned. Right clicking on the file in question and selecting File Permissions should enable you to make the necessary changes.
It might also be worth posting on the Filezilla forum for more help if it's needed.
