Default VM SSID

Hello there,

I have recently upgraded to the SH3.0 and when I try to configure the router settings no matter what I do I cannot get rid of the default SSID connection.

I can change it on the main screen to my own and then change the network key.  I can make separate 2G and 5G connections, again with my own network key but then when I restart the router and go to connect any of my devices the default i.e  VM4152355 is still there, plus I'm still able to connect to it.

I know recently I was informed of some wifi anywhere service that if I signed up I was also allowing others to connect to my router in return, but I declined that.

Please help.

regards

Bob Godfrey

Re: Default VM SSID

Hey Bob,

Thanks for posting Smiley Happy

Sorry to hear that you're unable to change your SSID, that's certainly an odd fault and it sounds like we'll need to arrange a replacement.

I'll drop you a PM (purple envelope, top left) to confirm your address.

Speak with you soon,

Take care.
