Cannot send or recieve mms from samsung galaxy s2

Ive tried downloading the settings again, resetting back to default, sending an mms to myself but nothing works ... HELP ... Im obviously missing something

Have you turned off data? mms will not work if mobile internet is disabled.

if your internet connection is not workinh (3G or H 0n the top of the screen) and you have packet data switched ON then call 789

Hi

New to the forums and I have just sorted out my MMS after it was initially working then stopped again.

Not sure if this will help anyone but thought I would post up just in case

I had the settings resent to my phone and installed them but nothing worked, I changed the APN settings and configured them numerous times - nothing!

What I just did 5 minutes ago was go to settings Accounts & Sync, I checked background data box and got my GF to send me a pic - that worked.  I switched off Background data and got her to send another one that worked also.  I have no idea why this happened, I turn off background data to save battery life, but for some reason it has worked for me.

If you try it and it works let us know and give me a like
