What to do if a Virgin Media account holder has died (Cable)

[ Edited ]

Virgin Broadband, TV or Home Phone (For mobile click here)

We know this may be a difficult time, so we’re here to help.

To talk to us about a Virgin Broadband, TV or home phone account give our team a call on 150 from any Virgin Media phone or mobile, or 0345 454 1111* from any other phone and select option 4.

We’ll need to know whether you’d like to transfer the services into another person’s name, or close the account. Whichever you choose we’ll let you know exactly what’ll happen next.

If possible please have as much of the following information to hand when you call:

  • The account number and the name of the account holder
  • Your relationship to the deceased
  • If you want to close the account, the name and address of the executor of the estate

*For details about how much it costs to call our team from a Virgin Media home phone, visit virginmedia.com/callcosts. Call costs from other networks and mobiles vary
