I am looking to cancel my Gran's VM TV package but keep getting asked for her password, She is 95yrs old in a care home now and is incapable of answering any questions with regards to passwords. Plz can someone give me some advice on this as I set up her account.
Not an uncommon problem. Phone VM on 150 or 0345 454 1111, stay on the line until the menu options clear and when you talk to the CS rep ask to be put through to retentions (thinking of leaving). You will need to be able to establish your Gran's identity by address, date of birth, etc (stuff you know) and go ahead then and cancel on her behalf. This is not easy and you MUST be persistent in insisting that you are properly acting on her behalf.
Good luck and this was a good question. The answer is not so easy though.
Superuser 2016/17 Use Kudos to say thanks Mark answer as "helpful" only when the problem is solved Please don't send me private messages unless I ask you to. I do not work for VM. The advice I give is based on my best understanding of VM policy and practice. You rely on it at your own risk.
