Can't change password - the emailed verification link is always expired

I am trying to login to My Virgin Media  but have forgotten my password. So I click on 'forgot password'. I receive the verification email  but when I click on the  link it says the link has expired.  

I am stuck in a loop which wont let me change my password

Thanks for using the Community Forums to get this issue with your services looked into, I am sorry if this has been causing some frustration 😥 I would be more than happy to look into this for you!

I have a link here which helps with most Email Management Issues, so please take some time to read through this to see if it helps. 

Could you also try using a different device to click on "forgotten email" please, like a laptop, PC or another handset/tablet?

Let us know if the verification email works after this.

Yes , having tried Apple devices I then tried Win10 and Win11 PCs to no avail.
