Strict NAT type for both PS4s?

So, there's 2 PS4s in my household, and there has been for the past year and a half. Everything has been fine up until a week ago when the internet was going real slow, the next thing both PS4s (on different games - Black Ops 3 and Infinite Warfare) we both got a strict NAT type, so like we can't join our friends.

We have tried everything, putting ps4s in DMZ, port forwarding the specific ports and wired the ps4s directly to the super hub. Still nothing, constantly on strict.

I would appreciate if someone could help, I've phoned up virgin media and they fixed it for like a few hours as it was type 2, but then it went back to type 3.

Re: Strict NAT type for both PS4s?

Hello Kirsty2017

Welcome to our forum, it must be so frustrating I wonder why your NAT changed. The connection is looking good from here by the way. Unusual for DMZ not to fix it. It may be worth for diagnostic purposes trying Modem mode on your Virgin Media Hub If it does not work then it is unlikely to be the hub. Please let us know how it goes.

Thank you
