[Brighton] High ping with constant disconnections.


I'm experiencing high ping and constant disconnections. This has been happening for the past few weeks. I live in a popular student area and with it being freshers week a lot of new students have moved in to their houses.I have horrible feeling that Virgin Media have over sold the line above its capacity again, this almost happens on a yearly basis. They have stools on the streets pushing students to sign up to there services.

Are Virgin aware that there is a current issue with constant disconnections and high ping? The Service status on my account says everything is fine when it quite obviously is not.

From what I can tell you have a SH1 ? If your in router mode do a reboot if you want it stable use modem mode.

Other reasons are you have something downloading or uploading that you don't know about causing you to buffer on your upto limit.
