Virgin Box Not Working

Hello.  On Tuesday I was selecting to watch a programme when the box suddenly shut itself down, since then it has been frozen with the blue lights displayed.  Have tried switching it on and off, and also switching off the modem to see if it made any difference to which it hasn't.  Just wondered if any technical people had any suggestions?  Thanks

Are you saying there is no message on the TV screen?
Is there anything displayed on the front of the box itself (Text or numbers)?
