Yesterday was a nightmare with my connection going down several times, lost packets etc. I thought my hub was faulty until I used the phone and dialled 150 and to be fair there was an automated message telling me that my area would be affected by engineering works today and to expect disruptions to service until 6pm.
That's all very well, but if you have some important planned business to transact, as I had, it would have been so much nicer to have been warned the day before or better still several days before so I could make other arrangements.
VM know all our email addresses and where we live, so how hard can it be to send an early warning email to all those in an affected area?
