It’s been ok until the last 3 months and now the boxs crash a lot when trying to do things like watch a movie or don’t turn on at all for 3/4 minutes. Also the box we have in the bedroom is now making a louder noise than it ever has. Sounds like a fan. I’d like them replaced really as have had them a long time. Where do I stand on this as it’s becoming annoying beyond belief. Speed suddenly slowed Never had a problem and then since Christmas Day speeds through the floor. We are meant to have 1GB and not even close sub 100. I’m now getting really fed up with VM. I’m looking in to SKY as even though a lower speed the reliability looks better. Tried to call CS at VM but no response. Any recommendations for better providers welcome as just can’t get speeds up on VM anymore Setting up TV channels 100:70 Hugely frustrating. Had a new Hub and two new remotes to upgrade boxes to TV 360. Thought everything went well. Broadband up and good speed. All easy but both boxes are stuck on the above message for 4 hours! Rang customer service and they were not very helpful and spent nearly two hours on calls. Can’t access any channels but all catch up services work and have the new User Guide etc Ive nearly had it with VM. Was really excited and enthused that was being upgraded and has turned in to pain in the neck. Looking at Sky packages and assume there is a cooling off period. Last resort is posting on here. CS said leave boxes on and turn TV’s off to allow update. That was a while ago now and no change. CS even saying they can see everything connected. At my wits end. Re: Download speed fallen off a cliff Completely wrong I’m afraid. I got through to customer services and they said there was an issue. Wasn’t resolved in two days so rang and they said would be resolved on Wednesday this week in 24 hours. For two days speed back to where it should be. This morning, fallen off a cliff again. Second one got passed around by two people and then cut off. At my wits end. Definitely a problem their end as router Speedtest is showing 16mps d/l and 50 up Download speed fallen off a cliff Can anyone help. Virgin showing not a problem in my area but my download speed has dropped from 200kps to 20mps. Checked everything, rebooted everything and nothing. Upload stable at 50mps. I really don’t have the time to call the helpline so can anyone suggest anything else to check or a fix? Quite important as need broadband for work etc.
