You could use an "hdmi wireless link" from the TV Box to the TV, but then the TV Box would still be in it's original location !! Not an issue if you're using the wireless remote, but IR line-of-sight challenge for the older DogBone IR remotes. Using a work VPN does provide security between your laptop & the work IT systems. Using other VPN's for generic internet access simply means your connection is secure from your laptop to the VPN providers location. The connection from there to whatever website you are using is only using standard protocols. Simple answer. Most of the firmware updates are able to reuse the local config set by the user, however some major firmware updates require the local config to be reset. It depends on what's inside the update. Hence your modem stays in the same mode for a long time, until a major firmware change is rolled out, hence the reset.28Views0likes0Comments
