When you log into 'My Virgin Media' for that ntlworld email (which you now have to use your Gmail address as the log in name) do you get to see the billing/package info for your VM services? That would make the ntlworld email address your primary account. Your description has elements which make it sound like the mailbox is being deleted. But that could not happen for a primary mailbox but could happen for a secondary mailbox. I am suggesting this because your previous topics mentioned moving house and that is a time when some VM 'confusion' might arise with moving email addresses. Re: Email suddenly not working Is the ntlworld mailbox in question part of the primary account (where you can see bills, package info etc.) or is it what was termed a secondary mailbox? Re: Goodbye to my 18 month contract It may be possible. Re: Ntlworld email mystery Have you gone through the VM processes of supplying a third-party email address for each of your VM mailboxes and creating an app password to use with email client programs? Sounds like this could possibly be part of the problem. Is the mailbox your primary email or is it what used to be known as a secondary email address? Re: Ntlworld email mystery Are you currently a customer of VM for broadband? Re: Goodbye to my 18 month contract Two year minimum terms are not something I have noticed being mentioned on here recently. All the offers I can see right now on the VM website show 18 month terms. The claim by the call handler has more than a ring of something made up on the go by the sales agent. Re: Broadband issues What sort of phone are you using that connects to the hub's wi-fi and is not your/a mobile? Re: Broadband issues Tate111 wrote: now on wi fi I don't receive calls What are you referring to here? Connecting your mobile phone via wi-fi or something else? Re: Contacting Virgin Media The commonly held view of regulars on here is that the days of VM's email service are numbered. Put some time and effort into migrating away from the hopelessly-unreliable VM email service, to a new non-ISP email provider, and then enjoy the experience of ditching VM altogether for something that is better/cheaper. Re: Loyalty Your post echoes common themes which are being repeated regularly on here in recent times, especially for long-term customers.
