Yes that is a very good point - how can VM legally require a customer to 'fill in a form' to continue receiving a service that they are already contractually obliged to provide. The thinking is totally muddled as was their email falsely telling customers that as they hadn't watched the channel in a six month period they were kindly removing it - at least in that case there must have been at least one person in a position of authority with perhaps a sense of embarrassment or perhaps more likely a portent of legal challenge.
