Virgin360 remote has stopped controlling volume

My Virgin 360 remote has been working fine until today when it will not control volume on my Bravia TV. The TV controller works but the Virgin controller will change channel etc but nothing happens with volume up, down or mute. What is the fix please?

It was behaving fine until today. Going to the settings, it tells me “Your Virgin TV remote is paired to control your device's volume, source and power functions.”

It correctly lists the Sony TV and my Denon audio set up.

Ah, go it. Same menu page in settings, it tells me the remote is controlling volume on the Denon, I’ve now changed and it’s working the TV.
