Virgin 360 an upgrade?

I allowed myself to be persuaded that the 360 upgrade would be the thing to do. Install wasn't straightforward, but it eventually turned up. It is horrible. Not intuitive at all. The deal breaker was that I'd have to set up an individual profile, instead of just using the default listings, if I want to hide/disable the adult channels. I don't want them at all. As it is, it would mean my kids could access them from the main menu - or I have to change the pass code. It's just one more option that's unnecessary. But over all, it is a truly terrible interface. If they don't let me downgrade, I'm going. And I've been with them for over 20 years.

TV360 is a completely different TV platform to TiVo/V6, calling it an upgrade means that moving between Apple & Android (in either direction) is also an upgrade.

It is a conversion, with pros & cons both ways. For some users, TV360 suits better. For others, V6 is better. The choice to convert is always voluntary, but is also irreversible if requested.

Unfortunately you've fallen for the 'upgrade' word/con.

Threaten to leave, a few have managed to get a V6 back, but it would mean a replacement unconverted box. If not go to Sky,  their offering is better than the 360.

Hi @shikaka1

Welcome to the community forums

Sorry to hear that you're happy with the difference between TV360 and your V6. This is certainly not what we like to hear.

We always take on board the feedback given in the reviews we receive to collect the information and use it to learn more about the areas we need to improve. We will certainly pass this information along to the relevant teams.

Here to help 🙂

I totally agree I’ve only had it 2 days and deeply regret switching. The remote has no option to instantly access your recordings and the “home screen” background in purple makes the options so difficult to see. I could go on. Definitely a big step backwards.

The answer to all “shortcuts” on 360 appears to be using the mic button & your voice, &ask for what you want.

What of you can't or don't want to speak?. Pressing a button is quicker than several words. It's a gimmick that doesn't make up for the downgrade in functionality.
